Passion Speaker Series

The Passion Speaker Series is Convergence's flagship speaker event. Each month, a speaker is invited to give a talk on what their passion or career is. Speaker passions are extremely diverse and we have hosted talks for fields such as medicine, theatre arts, education, etc.  In each presentation, speakers will be asked to describe the following aspects of their passion:
• How did you decide on this passion/career and when was this decision made?
• Steps to getting into that profession (school specialization, timeline, work positions/promotions)
• What is a normal day like at work? (specific roles, interesting facts)
• What do you like the most about your job? What are the benefits and perks of this job?
• What are the career advancements in that discipline?
• Tips for graduating students on how to get a head start to that career
